Our Integrative Medicine Service
At Home Treatment
We know just how stressful taking your pet to the vets can be. All of our treatments are provided in the comfort of your own home. If you own an sensitive or reactive dog then we can find neutral spaces for consultation and treatment as needed. Equine acupuncture patients are treated on yard.
Complementary Therapy
Our integrative rehabilitation medicine and acupuncture clinics work alongside the traditional medicine prescribed by your primary care veterinary surgeon. We will also coordinate with your other care providers such as hydrotherapists or chiropractioners to ensure a holistic approach to your pet's treatment.
Here For All Species
Our Pawsitive Relief clinics are for companion animal (domestic pet) species, and not just limited to dogs and cats! Whilst the majority of patients that present for veterinary acupuncture are dogs, cats and horses, acupuncture can be used on the majority of species. We are happy to come out to see all animals, from small furries to farm animals.
Veterinary Surgeon Led Treatment
All treatments are performed by Dr Emma Rogers-Smith, MRCVS who has years of experience within the veterinary industry and has had extensive advanced training since graduation. She is a member of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists, the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the British Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Association. She has trained with the University of Tennessee in Veterinary Clinical Rehabilitation. She is also studying for an advanced diploma in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Acupuncture to complement her Western Acupuncture training.
